Global Health Action welcomes its new partner: Farmamundi Global Health Action Spain has signed today the Memorandum of Understanding with the NGO Farmamundi. This means that Spain will participate in as members of Action for Global Health. Farmamundi - Pharmaceutical Mundi-work in most areas that are relevant to Global Health Action, such as access to medicines, the right to health and the right to sexual and reproductive health, among others. Farmamundi already participated in other events organized by Action for Global Health in the May Days of 2008.With this firm become the fourth member of the European network in Spain. The European network project includes expanding the number of partners and networking with other NGOs to support in achieving common objectives: trying to Europe to act more quickly to enable developing countries achieve the Millennium Health Millennium Development Goals. The original organization, the Federation of Family Planning and Doctors of the World, and signed another Memorandum of Understanding with Action Aid as an additional partner. Technicians of the four Spanish organizations will meet in two weeks to set a common agenda of work. Mannatech Simon Wright, Project Coordinator of the Global Health Action said: "I am delighted with the rapid growth of the network in Spain and Farmamundi has decided to work with members of Action for Global Health to ensure that there is a stronger voice and better coordinated health among Spanish NGOs.
